Windows 95 online resources
By Timothy C. Barmann
There are already a number of free Windows 95 resources. Here are a few:
By E-mail
- WinNews is Microsoft's official, Windows 95 newsletter. It is e-mailed about every two weeks. To subscribe, send e-mail to enews@microsoft.nwnet.com. In the body of the message, type SUBSCRIBE WINNEWS.
- WIN95-L is an ``open, unmoderated give-and-take forum'' about Windows 95. To subscribe, send e-mail to LISTSERV@PEACH.EASE.LSOFT.COM. In the body of the message, type SUB WIN95-L firstname lastname (substituting your name, of course). Once your subscription is accepted, you can get compilations of all daily messages, rather than hundreds of individual ones posted each day, by sending another message to the above address with this in the message body: SET WIN95-L DIGEST.
World Wide Web
- Mike Dixon's unofficial Windows 95 Question/Answer/Information/Data base page has tips including bug reports, rumors, installation instructions, and Microsoft Network information:

Online Services
- America Online: Use keyword WINNEWS
